Love for Luke

Although Luke is almost four months old now, I wanted to share a few more images from his newborn session when he was six days old.  He has changed and grown so much!  You forget so quickly what they were like when they were so tiny. With all the fatigue and emotions and mostly just trying to get through it, you forget how precious that time was. Newborn photos are so special to me.  Everyone should get them done!

Two!

Well, I don't know how it happened, but my baby turned two this week. Here he is in *all* his glory.

Joseph...

loves forts.

sticks his tongue out when he's concentrating.

loves playing in water... in the sink, in a cooler, in a pail, in the pool, anywhere.

must count to ten before performing any important stunt.

loves playdoh.

has a vocabulary that is ever-expanding. ("These raspberries are delicious!")

pronounces the "s" at the beginning of words as "h" ("...five, hix, heaven, eight...")

knows how to throw one heck of a tantrum.

gives the best kisses and 'around the neck' hugs.

makes me the happiest mommy around!

Ok, so I haven't had any clients lately.... anyone interested in getting some photos done? Please?

Meanwhile, I'm still taking plenty of photos of my number one favourite model - Mr. Joseph J. Stinker.  Every month since he was born, I do a mini photo shoot with him and his best buddy, Gerome the Giraffe. Now that Joseph is going on 19 months, I thought it might be nice to share some of the pictures so you can see how he's grown.  He's quite the little man now. He sure has come a long way from a lump in my arms to a walking, talking, peeing-on-the-potty toddler.

Again, these aren't award winning works of art, just some snap shots to fill the gap until my next real photo session. Any takers?

Christmas

As we took down our Christmas tree today and packed away all the decorations for another year, I was thinking that it might be nice to share a few pictures of our Christmas adventures in the Valley. Joseph seemed to really enjoy all the excitement this year. He didn't really understand what was going on all the time, but he loved all the parties and presents! Now, these aren't exactly award-winning photos, just a few snapshots. I hope you like them anyway!

By the way, no, we didn't get Joseph a doll for Christmas (not that there's anything wrong with that)... it belongs to his little cousin, Rebecca.
